Show your public profile in the visitor’s language PRO

Visitor Translation (a PRO feature) lets anyone who opens your public profile read it in their own language — automatically, in up to 18 languages. Here’s how to turn it on and what your visitors experience.

Your public profile is the card people open when you share your link, tap your card, or scan your QR code. With Visitor Translation, that profile can appear in the visitor’s own language instead of only English — great for conferences, international clients, and multilingual cities. It’s a PRO feature (included with Pro Profile and the Pro Bundle). This is different from changing the app’s own language, which is free — see the link at the bottom.

Turn it on (2 minutes)

1

Sign in at app.anexusconnect.com, open Settings, and choose Translation in the sidebar (it has a PRO badge).

2

If you’re on the free plan, you’ll see a “Pro Profile feature” notice with an Open Feature Store button — the toggle stays locked until you add Pro Profile (or the Pro Bundle). If you already have it, go to the next step.

3

Switch on “Let visitors translate my profile.”

4

Under Languages visitors can choose, tick the languages you want to offer (or use Select all). Your changes save automatically — a “Saved” note confirms it. The globe only appears on your live profile once at least one language is selected.

Open the app and go to Settings → Translation

What your visitors see

Once translation is on, a small globe button appears at the top-right of your profile. Visitors tap it and pick a language from the ones you enabled; the page text swaps instantly. Even better, if a visitor’s device is already set to one of your enabled languages, the profile auto-translates the moment they arrive — no tapping needed. English is always the default, and anyone can switch back to it from the same menu.

The 18 languages

Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, Bengali, Tamil, Arabic, Russian, Vietnamese, and Filipino — plus English as the original. Turn on as many or as few as you like.

What gets translated — and what doesn’t

  • Translated: your About text, job title, company, your link labels, the action buttons (Save Contact, Exchange Contact, Share This Profile), appointment booking text, video titles, and your Profile Shop products — plus small interface bits like “show more” and the contact-form placeholders.
  • Not translated: the contact file people save (vCard), your Apple Wallet pass, any PDF, and words baked into an image. Also note that right-to-left languages like Arabic and Urdu are translated as text, but the profile’s layout stays left-to-right.

How it works behind the scenes

Translations are produced automatically by Google Cloud Translation and cached, so the first visitor in a given language triggers the translation and everyone after that gets it instantly. You don’t manage any of it — turn it on, pick your languages, and it just works. Your original English text is always kept as-is; translation never overwrites what you wrote.
