Camera capture with edge detection
Hold the card in frame and the edges are found for you — no cropping, no flatbed, no perfect lighting required.
Inside the appPoint your camera at any paper business card. The details are read, a contact is created, and it lands in the same CRM as the people who tapped your card.
Going digital does not stop other people handing you paper. You still need a way to scan business cards and get them somewhere useful. The business card scanner in Anexus Connect closes that gap: point the camera at a card, let the edges be detected automatically, and OCR pulls out the name, job title, email, phone number and company. A new lead is created in your mini CRM, auto-tagged with the event, the location and the date so you can remember where the conversation happened, and it merges into the same pipeline as every NFC tap and QR scan. From there it behaves like any other lead — add a note, set a reminder, mark the priority, and on PRO let it sync onward into HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho or whichever of the ten CRMs you already run.
Paper does not disappear just because your own card is digital.
There is a rubber band around last quarter's cards in my desk drawer.
Scan business cards a few at a time and each one becomes a real contact with a name, a company and a date, instead of a stack you keep meaning to deal with.
I typed thirty cards into a spreadsheet once and swore never again.
The OCR does the reading. You check what it found, fix anything odd, and save — which is a few seconds a card rather than a minute.
Six weeks later I cannot remember which conference a card came from.
Each scan is tagged with the event, the location and the date automatically, so the context survives longer than your memory of the room.

Inside the appName, job title, email, phone number and company are read from the card and written into a new contact.
The mini CRMThree weeks later you can still tell which trade show, which city and which afternoon a card came from.
Event lead captureScanned cards are not a separate list. They merge into your contacts and sync onward to your CRM on PRO.
See the integrationsEvery field is editable, which matters on cards with unusual layouts, two languages or type that is more art than information.
Managing contactsWrite the note while you still remember what they asked for, set a reminder, and mark whether this one is worth chasing.
How lead capture worksNo. The scanner is part of Anexus Connect, so the cards you scan and the people who tapped your card end up in one place instead of two apps you have to reconcile later.
Name, job title, email address, phone number and company. You can edit anything before saving, which is worth doing on cards with unusual layouts or very stylised type.

As many as you collect. The usual pattern is a burst after an event — a stack scanned in one sitting — and then the occasional single card from a meeting. Each one becomes an ordinary contact, so nothing about your list changes as it grows.
Scan it and check what came back. Names, emails and phone numbers survive most layouts; a job title in a script the OCR reads less confidently is the field worth correcting before you save.
Yes. On a company account, cards scanned by anyone land in the shared contacts pool the business owns, alongside the leads captured by tap, QR and the capture form.
