Anexus Technologies Incorporated is committed to ensuring the Anexus Connect website and application are accessible to people with disabilities. This is the right thing to do, and it makes our product better for everyone.
The standard we target
We aim to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, which is the standard adopted under the AODA's Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation. We test and design against this standard across the website and the app, including:
- Sufficient colour contrast between text and background
- Keyboard operability for all interactive elements (no mouse required)
- Visible focus indicators for keyboard navigation
- Semantic HTML and ARIA labels for screen readers
- Skip-to-content links and clear landmark regions
- Respect for the user's reduced-motion preference
- Form fields with associated labels and error guidance
- Touch targets sized for users with limited fine-motor control
- Alternative text for images that carry meaning
- Captions and transcripts for media where applicable
Specific measures we've taken
- Skip-to-main-content link as the first focusable element on every page.
- Keyboard support across the navigation, including Enter/Space/Escape for dropdown menus and Arrow keys for carousels.
- Focus trap within the mobile navigation overlay so keyboard users cannot tab "behind" the menu.
- Branded focus rings that are visible on every interactive element, designed to stay readable on light and dark backgrounds.
- WCAG-compliant body-text contrast (≥ 4.5:1) tuned across the site.
- Reduced-motion media query that disables non-essential animation when the visitor has the system preference enabled.
- Semantic structure —
<header>,<main>,<nav>,<footer>, and ARIA landmark labels. - Alt text on meaningful images; decorative images marked
aria-hidden.
What we're improving next
Accessibility is ongoing work — we want to be transparent about where the gaps are and what's next on our roadmap, rather than imply the site is "done." The following items are open issues we are actively addressing:
- Captions for marketing videos — captions are not yet provided for every marketing video on the site. Where a video conveys important information, we provide the same information in nearby text so no content is captions-only. Targeted improvement: closed captions on all hero and explainer videos by the end of our current accessibility cycle.
- Tabular alternatives for charts — some advanced analytics charts in the App dashboard rely on visual patterns. Targeted improvement: a "view as table" toggle for each chart, with full keyboard and screen-reader support.
- French-language version — a French translation of the website is planned, in line with our Bill 96 commitment in the Terms of Use. In the meantime, key legal documents (Terms, Privacy, Return) are available in French on request — see Section 27.1 of the Terms.

Compatibility
The site is designed to be compatible with current versions of the following assistive technologies:
- Screen readers: VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), NVDA, JAWS, TalkBack (Android)
- Browser zoom: up to 200% without loss of content or function
- Operating-system settings: reduced motion, increased contrast, system font sizing

How we maintain this standard
- Accessibility checks are part of our development workflow for any new feature.
- We run targeted audits against WCAG 2.1 AA on a regular basis.
- We listen to user feedback and prioritise fixes that remove barriers.
- Where a change would risk regressing accessibility, we don't ship it.
Our accessibility plan
Beyond day-to-day quality checks, Anexus Technologies maintains a multi-year accessibility plan that guides where we invest our accessibility work. The plan describes the barriers we have identified, the work scheduled to remove them, and the principles we apply when designing new features. Highlights of our current plan:
- 2026 — foundations. WCAG 2.1 AA conformance across the marketing website and the core App flows; published feedback process; staff training in accessible design and writing; accessible procurement language in our vendor agreements.
- 2027 — depth. Closed captions on every video asset; "view as table" alternatives for analytics charts; full French-language localisation of legal documents and key onboarding flows; documented accessibility review on every new feature before launch.
- 2028 — beyond AA. Targeted WCAG 2.2 conformance work, especially on touch targets and authentication; published annual accessibility progress report.
