Your data
Personal details stay personal.
We protect the information you share with us, and the information your contacts share with you. If someone ever managed to look where they should not, they would not be able to read it.
Your card and profile
Everything on your smart profile — your name, contact details, links, biography, theme — stays yours alone.
Your contacts
When someone taps your card and shares their info, we treat that information the way they expected — protected, and visible only to you.
Your orders and bookings
If you sell through Profile Shop or take appointments, your customers' details are protected with the same care as your own.
Encryption
Encrypted in transit and at rest.
Your information is protected at every step — encrypted while it travels to us, and the sensitive fields encrypted again while they sit in our database. Here is what that means in practice.
In transit — TLS/HTTPS
Every connection to Anexus runs over HTTPS with modern TLS, so the data moving between your device and our servers can't be read or tampered with along the way.
At rest — AES-256-GCM on sensitive fields
We encrypt the sensitive data we store — contact details and submissions, notes, appointment details and integration credentials — field by field with AES-256-GCM under rotating keys, so it stays unreadable to anyone who should never reach it.
Passwords & keys
We hash passwords and never store them in a readable form. We encrypt the keys and tokens that connect your integrations, and we keep access to them tightly controlled.
Signing in
Your account stays yours.
A strong password
We will not let you pick a password that is too short, too obvious, or known to have been leaked elsewhere on the internet.
Two-step sign-in
When you sign in from somewhere new, we send a short code to your email to confirm it is really you. Knowing your password is not enough on its own.
Sign-in alerts
You get an email every time someone signs in to your account. If it was not you, you know right away — and you can sign that device out in one tap.
Devices you trust
You can see every device signed in to your account and remove any of them whenever you want.
Payments
We never see your card details.
Whenever you pay for something through Anexus — a new card, a PRO subscription, a Profile Shop purchase, or a booking — the payment is handled by a trusted, regulated payment provider. Your card number and security code never reach our servers. We only see a receipt afterwards.

One click in Settings gives you everything tied to your account — ready to keep as a backup or use elsewhere.
Delete your account for real
When you delete your account, your profile, contacts and content are removed. We keep only what the law requires, such as order and tax records, plus backups that are overwritten on a fixed rotation. Our Privacy Policy explains each one.
No fingerprinting, no raw IP
Anexus does not build device fingerprints for visitor analytics, and raw IP addresses are never shown in your Insights. Visitor-level analytics start only when a visitor allows them. People who interact with you deserve that respect.

Where is my data stored?
On managed hosting in Canada, with regular backups that are protected the same way.
Do you sell my data?
No. We make money when you pay for Pro or sell something through your Profile Shop. Your contacts are never a product.
Is my profile or contacts used to train AI?
No. When the AI features help you write or organise, they work in the moment — nothing about you or your contacts is kept for training.
What happens if I cancel?
You can download a copy of everything first. Once you delete the account, the data is removed.
Who can see my profile, and what can I hide?
Anyone holding the link, the card or the QR code can open your profile — it is a public web page by design, because the person you just met should not need an account to reach it. What you control is the contents: each section can be shown or hidden, so the details you only want to give out deliberately need never sit on the public page at all.
What exactly is encrypted?
Traffic is encrypted in transit. At rest we encrypt the sensitive values field by field with AES-256-GCM under rotating keys — contact details and form submissions, notes, appointment details and integration credentials. We say "the sensitive data we store" rather than "all data" on purpose: it is the accurate description of how the encryption is applied, and a vendor who tells you everything is encrypted without saying what that covers is worth a second question.
