Every time someone fills in your exchange form, they show up in your Exchanged Contacts list. This guide is how you turn that list into actual relationships.
Open Exchanged Contacts
From the app, click Exchanged Contacts in the main menu (people icon).
You'll see all your contacts in either a grid view or a list view. Toggle between them with the view switcher at the top right.
Search and filter
Use the search box at the top to find someone by name, email, or company.
Use the filter to narrow down — new this week, exchanged today, by tag, by source, etc.
Open a contact's detail page
Click any contact to see their full record:
- Everything they filled in on your form (email, phone, company, custom fields)
- When they exchanged contact info
- Their visit history (every time they viewed your card)
- How they found you (NFC, QR, link)
- Your private notes
Add notes
The most important habit. Write down what you talked about, what's relevant, what to follow up on.
On a contact's detail page, find the Notes section.
Click to add a note. Write whatever you want — meeting context, what they're looking for, anything.
Notes are private to you — the contact never sees them.
Tag contacts to stay organised
Tags are short labels you create — like "warm lead," "follow up next week," "customer," "investor." You make them up; they're for you.
On a contact's detail page, click "Add tag."
Type a tag or pick from your existing tags.
Filter your contact list by tag to focus on a specific group.
Export your contacts to CSV
Want to move your contacts to Excel, Google Sheets, or another tool?
From the Exchanged Contacts list, click "Export."
You'll get a CSV file with every contact and every field they submitted.
Sync to your CRM
If you use HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho, you can connect them so new contacts flow in automatically.
Go to Settings → Integrations.
Pick your CRM, sign in via OAuth (the standard secure login flow).
Once connected, new contacts from your Anexus profile sync to your CRM. You can trigger a manual one-time export from the same screen.
Customize your exchange form
By default, visitors are asked for name and email. You can change the fields to capture exactly what matters to you.
Go to Settings → Custom Exchange Contact Form.
Choose one of two modes:
- AI chat mode — visitors chat with an AI assistant that asks for their info conversationally
- Custom form mode — a regular form with the fields you choose
For custom form mode: add fields (text, email, phone, dropdown, etc.), set required fields, customize the submit button label and the success message.
Use the AI Leads Advisor PRO
From any contact detail page, you can ask the AI Leads Advisor to suggest a personalized follow-up.
Click "AI Advisor" on the contact detail page.
It looks at the contact's info, your notes, and their visit history, then suggests what to say next.
