Lost or damaged your card? Order a new one

Cards get dropped at airports, left in jacket pockets, or run through laundry — it happens. Here are your two ways to get a replacement.

Losing or damaging a card you've grown to rely on is frustrating, and we want to get you a new one quickly. Replacement cards outside the manufacturing-defect warranty aren't free (we still have to make and ship a new one), but the process is short and your new card links to the same live profile — so anyone who already has your link or saved your contact gets the latest version automatically.

Option 1 — Order a replacement from inside the app (fastest)

2

Open Settings → Order a replacement card.

3

Pick the same finish and engraving as before — or choose something different if you'd like a change.

4

Check out. We'll ship from our Ontario facility on the standard timeline (typically 5 business days for Metal Black and Stainless Steel; faster for PVC).

Good to know: the new card links to the same live profile as your old one. You don't have to update anyone's saved contact, re-share your link, or rebuild any of your setup. The moment your new card arrives, every tap routes to the same profile you've always had.

Option 2 — Contact support

If you'd rather have a person walk you through the order — or if you've changed addresses, want to send the card to a different person, or have a question about engraving — email us:

  • Email: support@anexustechnologies.com
  • Subject line: "Replacement card order"
  • Include if you have it: your original order number (speeds things up but isn't required)

We reply within one business day with a checkout link and any questions about the engraving or shipping address.

If you suspect your card was stolen

If you think your card was stolen rather than just lost, please contact us at support@anexustechnologies.com with the subject "Stolen card" before ordering a replacement. Two things we can help with:

  • Check the activity. YourInsights dashboard shows recent profile views, including approximate location and the source (NFC tap, QR scan, or direct link). We can help you spot whether anyone has been scanning the stolen card.
  • Disable the old card's link. If needed, we can disable the URL on the old card so that even if someone finds it, tapping it no longer opens your live profile. The new card you order will use a fresh link.

Why isn't a lost-card replacement free?

Our free-replacement warranty covers manufacturing defects and shipping damage — situations where the card we sent doesn't perform as it should. Lost, stolen, and physically damaged cards are real costs to remake and reship, and absorbing those costs for every customer would push our prices up for everyone. Charging the normal price for a replacement keeps the original cards as affordable as possible, while still giving you a fast, simple way to get a new one. See ourfull Return Policy for the details.

Tips to keep a card going for years

  • Carry it in a wallet, card pocket, or phone case. Metal cards are durable, but pockets full of keys can scratch the finish.
  • Avoid extreme heat or cold — leaving a card in a hot car dashboard for hours, or in freezing temperatures overnight, can damage the chip.
  • Don't bend, drill, cut, or microwave the card. It seems obvious, but these are the main reasons cards stop working.
  • Avoid sustained moisture. A splash is fine; running it through a washing machine is not.
  • Don't put metal stickers on top of the NFC area. They can block the antenna and stop taps from working.
