Your Apple Wallet pass is the fastest way to share your card when you don't have your physical card on you. Open Wallet → tap the pass → show the QR. Done.
Generate your pass
Open the app and go to Settings → Digital Wallet.
Click "Add to Apple Wallet."
The app builds a signed .pkpass file. It uses your name, photo, role, and your profile's theme colors, with a QR code on the back that links to your live profile.
Add it to your iPhone
Two paths depending on what device you're on.
On your iPhone, directly
On your iPhone, open Anexus → Settings → Digital Wallet.
Tap "Add to Apple Wallet."
iOS shows the standard Wallet "Add" sheet. Tap Add in the top right.
Your pass is now in Apple Wallet alongside your boarding passes and tickets.
From your computer, email it to yourself
On your computer, generate the pass.
Tap "Email to me" or download the file and email it as an attachment.
Open the email on your iPhone. Tap the .pkpass attachment. Tap Add.
Use it from the Lock Screen
Double-tap the side button (or home button on older iPhones). Apple Wallet opens.
Swipe to your Anexus pass.
Show the QR code. They scan, your profile opens.
Use it on your Apple Watch
If you wear an Apple Watch, your Wallet passes sync to it automatically.
Press the side button on your Watch. Wallet opens.
Pick your Anexus pass. The QR fills the watch screen.
Hold your wrist up; the other phone scans the QR.
Auto-updates — you don't have to redo anything
When you change your name, photo, role, or contact info in your Anexus profile, your Wallet pass updates automatically — on every device you've added it to. No re-download, no re-add.
This works through Apple's push update mechanism. Your iPhone gets a silent notification that refreshes the pass content.
Re-generate the pass after big changes
Most changes (text, photo) push automatically. But some changes — especially major design changes (new theme colors) — work best if you re-generate the pass.
Go back to Settings → Digital Wallet.
Tap "Regenerate pass." Download and re-add to Apple Wallet.
What's on the pass
The pass shows your name and role on the front, with your profile's theme colors as the background. On the back, a QR code that opens your live profile when scanned.
Tapping the front of the pass opens your profile directly on the user's phone (no QR scan needed when they're holding their own device).
Troubleshooting
"Cannot add pass" error
Almost always means your iOS is out of date. Update to the latest iOS and try again. Apple Wallet requires iOS 14 or later for our pass format.
Pass added but no photo
Make sure you've uploaded a profile photo in your Anexus profile, then re-generate the pass.
Pass colors look wrong
Your pass colors are pulled from your profile's theme at the time you generated the pass. Change your theme, re-generate the pass to refresh.
QR doesn't scan
Try increasing your screen brightness. Sometimes scanners struggle with dim screens. Also make sure the scanning phone has its camera lens clean.
Privacy notes
The pass is stored on your device by Apple Wallet, not on our servers. When someone scans the QR, that visit shows up in your Insights as a "Wallet" source. We don't have visibility into how many people have added the pass — only into how many times the QR gets scanned.
